Purchase, activate, refresh, deactivate, reset, recover an account, request a refund, and reissue a License Key from one page.
Before you start
- An administrator account is required. Reset, refund, and Key reissue all require an Owner Session (Email + License Key verified together); a Recovery Session obtained by Email alone cannot do any of these three.
Steps
- Choose a plan
Community is free with no Entitlement. Standard is USD 9 for one device and removes the Web/local trial mark. Professional is USD 39 for two devices and removes the trial mark on both Web/local and API printing. - Pay and activate
Enter the purchase email and complete Lemon Squeezy checkout. You receive an email containing the License Key, or you can keep this page open for it to be obtained and activated automatically. - Normal Deactivate (prefer this)
Run this on a device that still works. It is signed by that device, releases its slot immediately, and never consumes the Reset quota. Always prefer this over Reset when the device is still usable or you are simply switching machines. - Emergency Reset for a lost or unusable old device
Use this only when the old device is lost, broken, or cannot act for itself. First verify ownership with an Email Magic Link to obtain an Owner Session, then select that old device and run Emergency Reset. The limit is 12 resets per rolling 365 days, and that device's license is revoked immediately and cannot be undone. - Forgot your License Key? Account recovery
Use this when the Key itself is lost — only an email is required, and a recovery link is sent if it matches an active License. This grants a limited Recovery Session: it can view the device list and run Reset, but cannot request a refund or reissue a Key — those two require an Owner Session verified with Email + Key. - Request a refund
Within 30 days of purchase, an Owner Session can request this as self-service. Once confirmed, the License Server immediately marks the License as refunded, and no device can activate or refresh afterward — this cannot be undone. The device that requested the refund clears its own cached entitlement immediately; other devices sharing the same License (Professional allows up to two) may keep using their cached snapshot until its own 30-day expiration — this is a known behavior of the offline-tolerant design, not a fault. - Reissue a License Key
Use only when the old Key is lost or compromised; this also requires an Owner Session. Issuing a new Key disables the old one immediately, but it does not free any device slot — if all slots are full, you still need a Reset to open one up.
Notes
- Web/local printing uses only print.web.no_trial_mark. The APP-reported license tier never changes Web/local output.
- Only a SORTINGGO_APP API key may use the temporary trusted App PRO compatibility path. GENERAL_REST_API, ADMIN, Web sessions, and unknown callers cannot unlock with an APP-reported tier.
- A License is a permanent purchase record. Signed Entitlements are 30-day offline snapshots. A refund only makes the server immediately reject new activation/refresh; an already-issued, not-yet-expired local snapshot can remain valid for a while afterward.
- An Owner Session (Email + License Key verified together) and a Recovery Session (Email-only recovery) have different privileges: only an Owner Session can request a refund or reissue a Key.
Limitations
- Real Lemon Squeezy payment, email delivery, and public Magic Link testing require the Remote Staging environment. Manual JWS import is available only under Advanced support flow.
