Shopee Taiwan orders (to ship, with short names)

A worked example: the same order report with a short-name rule that cuts each long title down to its first word. Adjust the rule for your own shop.

This is another version of "Shopee Taiwan orders (to ship)". It reads the same file. Shopee Taiwan orders (to ship)

Checked against a real export.

Exports from this platform are usually password-protected. The first time you import one, SortingGo asks for the password and can remember it in the format.

The sample holds made-up data. Import it to see the template working in your app before using your own file.

The file this template reads

Reads the same file as "Shopee Taiwan orders (to ship)": the order report (.xlsx) from Shopee Seller Centre, sheet "orders", headers in row 1. The only difference is an added short-name rule.

Getting the order file

  • Export the order report from the orders page of Shopee Seller Centre and download the .xlsx file.
  • Shopee Taiwan protects the report with a password. The first time you import with this template, SortingGo asks for the password and can remember it in the format, so it is not asked again.
  • Import the sample file first to see what the short names look like, then switch to your own order file.

Good to know

  • The short-name rule is one custom regex: it skips the 【】 and [ ] tags at the start of a title and takes the first word after them. The full product name is kept; the short name is what the screen shows and the voice reads out.
  • The rule does not suit every shop. A title that starts with a promotional word outside brackets gets that word as its short name, and products whose first word is the same get the same short name. The sample holds both on purpose: the tote bag comes out as 加厚款 (a promotional word), and two different tumblers are both called 保溫杯.
  • On one real Shopee Taiwan report (57 rows to ship, 30 products) the rule produced 24 different short names, so some products shared one. Always check the result after importing.
  • How to adjust the rule, patterns you can use as they are, and a prompt for asking an AI assistant are in the guide to short-name rules.
  • Everything else is the same as the main template: only 待出貨 (to ship) rows, the buyer account as customer, Shopee's product ID as product code, and the variation name as spec.

How to use a template

  1. In SortingGo, open "1. Import", tap the import format menu and choose "Choose from the template library...".
  2. Find your marketplace and tap "Add and use for this import".
  3. Choose the order file your marketplace exported. You can also just choose the file: when the app recognises a marketplace report, it asks whether to use the matching template.

You can also add a template from a file: download its format file (.xlsx), then in SortingGo open "Custom Import Formats", tap "Import format" and choose it.

Requires SortingGo 1.9.6 or later.

Templates work on every plan. Free and Lite do not import the order number and product code; every other field, including the spec, is imported.
