Print History

Look up print jobs from Web and the APP: filter by status, source, and date, inspect command details, download the .bin command file, export to Excel, and manage retention and manual purging.

Before you start

  • Before purging print history manually, confirm whether a database backup is needed first.

Steps

  1. Filter and search
Filter by status, source, and date range; each record includes time, data format, label format, device, kind, count, copies, mark, and status.
  2. View command details
Click "View Command" to inspect the compiled print command, and download the .bin command file (Windows driver mode jobs, or ones not yet printed, have no command to download).
  3. Export to Excel
Export matching records to an Excel file for archiving or analysis.
  4. Set retention days
Records older than the retention period are cleared automatically at service restart or the every-24-hours scheduled check. Set to 0 to disable auto-clearing.
  5. Purge manually when needed
Immediately delete records older than a specified number of days, independent of the retention setting.

Notes

  • Changing the retention setting doesn't delete old records immediately — it takes effect at the next scheduled check or service restart.
  • A downloaded .bin command file can be replayed on the Printers page with "Import Command File to Test Print" to help diagnose print issues.

Limitations

  • Excel export is capped at 5000 rows.
  • Manual purging of print history cannot be undone — confirm before proceeding.
