The template library holds ready-made import formats for the order reports of online marketplaces. Add one and import the marketplace's file without mapping columns yourself.
Steps
- Find your marketplace
Templates are grouped by market. "My market" is shown first; switch to "All" to see marketplaces in other countries. - Read about it and add it
Tap a template to see which report it reads and how far it has been checked, then tap "Add to my formats". When you came from the import screen, "Add and use for this import" takes you straight back with the format selected. - Import the marketplace's file
On the import screen, pick the format and then the order file the marketplace exported.
Notes
- "Verified" means the template was checked against a real export. "Beta" means it was built from public column lists; if a column name differs, the import reports the missing column.
- If you choose a marketplace report while the SortingGo format is selected, the app recognises it and asks whether to use the matching template.
- A format you added is yours and can be edited under "Custom Import Formats". When a template has a newer version, "Update available" is shown and you decide whether to apply it; applying replaces your changes to that format and keeps its name and password.
- You can offer a format you made to other sellers: under "Custom Import Formats", tap the format's export icon and choose "Share to the template library". The app prepares an e-mail with the format file and a sample that holds the header row only, without orders or the password; we check it before adding it to the library.
Limitations
- A template only recognises reports whose column names match exactly. After a marketplace renames a column, wait for the template to be updated or edit the format yourself.
