The remote browser lets you select an import file or save an export file from sources such as SMB, NAS, SFTP, or FTP.
Steps
- Confirm the connection settings
If the directory can't be read, go back to Settings first and check the host, account, password, and network. - Choose the correct file
Open a folder and select an Excel or CSV file. Use the up-one-level button to return to the parent folder. - Note the post-import handling
If import is set to delete or back up the source file, the corresponding action is applied to the remote file once import succeeds.
Notes
- A remote source works well for workflows that regularly receive orders from a NAS or shared folder.
Limitations
- Remote file operations are affected by network quality and the source's permission settings.
