Basic info and sample file

Choose a sample file and set the format name, password, worksheet, and header row position first, so the app can correctly recognize the source columns.

Before you start

  • Use a real file you actually receive as the sample.
  • If the file is password-protected, have the password ready first.

Steps

  1. Name the format
Choose a format name that identifies its source, such as the platform, customer, or supplier.
  2. Choose the sample file
A local file uses the system file picker; a remote file opens the remote browser to select from.
  3. Confirm the worksheet and header row
Select the worksheet and header row that actually contain order data — otherwise there will be no columns to map in the next step.

Notes

  • If there is descriptive text above the header row, set the header row to the row that actually contains the column names.

Limitations

  • If the app cannot read any columns from the sample file, mapping and preview cannot proceed.
