Picking is customer- or order-centered, completing the products a customer needs one item at a time.
Steps
- Confirm the customer and product
Check the current customer, product, specification, unit, and quantity remaining to pick. - Complete items one by one
Mark each item complete as you finish it — you can move to the next item or go back to fix the previous one. - Use voice and printing together
Voice prompts, headset controls, and label printing can all reduce how much you need to look at the screen.
Notes
- When a product name is too long, a product short name improves voice prompts and on-screen recognition.
- When a line has a storage location, the product card shows it and the voice prompt reads it out before the product name.
Limitations
- Read-only mode or a completed batch may only allow viewing, without allowing changes to completion status.
