Two products, two roles
DistributionGo manages the workflow. SortingGo guides the work.
DistributionGo
Manages the workflow (free)
- Import or add orders, or read them from your ERP
- Batch, allocate, dispatch and reassign
- Live progress, dashboards, reports and TV wall
- Review short picks and release for shipping
SortingGo App
Guides the work (Standard / Pro)
- Receives DistributionGo's work in My Work
- Reads out short product names to guide picking and sorting
- Allocations are locked; the floor can still report short picks
- Keeps working offline and reports back once reconnected
Requires SortingGo App 2.0.0 or later on a Standard plan or higher. DistributionGo itself is free; your floor team receives work and reports progress in the SortingGo App.
The full workflow
Orders come in
Import Excel/CSV, add by hand, or read ERP deliveries.
Batch and allocate
Allocate by available stock; lines allocated 0 are not dispatched.
Dispatch to the app
Pick a person; the job appears in their My Work.
Work by voice
The app guides picking or sorting and reports each line's actual quantity.
Track and release
The dashboard updates live; review short picks, then release.
Short picks
If 30 is allocated but only 25 is picked, the app reports 25. Ordered, allocated and picked quantities are kept apart, and DistributionGo reviews before release.
Reassignment
After reassignment the new person gets a fresh job and the old one stops accepting reports, so work is never done twice.
Done in the app ≠ shipped
Finished in the app, synced, released in DistributionGo and shipped are separate states, each visible in DistributionGo.
Full walkthrough: from order to synced results
One order is batched and assigned in DistributionGo, picked in the SortingGo App, and synced back to DG. About 5 minutes.
Recorded in a test environment with demo data, using a development build of the app.

The warehouse connection and My Work, which link the app to DistributionGo, are SortingGo App Standard and Pro features; Free and Lite cannot receive dispatched work. DistributionGo itself is free; you only subscribe for your floor team's app. See the SortingGo site for plans and prices.
